xmame.fast    is compiled from xmame-0.5x (I don't remember which one)
xmamerc       belongs in /Root/home/users/.xmame
default.cfg   belongs in .xmame/cfg

The .xmame directory is created the first time you run xmame.fast
Which you have to run from xterm

/directory where you placed xmame.fast 
$ ./xmame.fast romname -ror
(-ror stands for rotate screen right)

* The value of rompath in .xmame/xmamerc needs to be changed to the directory your roms are stored.

The escape key serve to end the game.
arrow keys correspond to directions
zoom in  is button 1
zoom out is button 2
full-screen is the coin in button/start

Now the bad news....
* The sound doesn't work at all in this one, but it is quicker.
* You can not use the button and the arrows at the same time
